I picked up these calling cards from the Paper Source on Chicago Avenue last week.
I’m too cheap (now) to create my own business cards – but it beats writing my contact info on scrap notes and post its. If you are a stationary junke (or craft nut) this store will be your orgasmic Utopia.
Also, they have really cool crafting workshops and uber-wonderful discount sales.
vistaprint.com also has very cheap business cards. I think they may even offer free ones up to a certain amount. Can’t customize to much but gets the job done.
@Jared
Thanks for the tip – I liked the calling card aspect of these cards. It’s kind of old-fashioned, which makes it a little unique
Hi Raven,
Good post. This is actually something I wonder about often. I have made my own bsns cards at work and while I’m happy I did it, I worry they don’t look professional enough. I’m glad you gave me another good idea! I am going to check them out!
@Amy I love hearing stuff like that! Let me know what you pick out – they have several different types of calling cards
I recently got a deal on some business cards at staples $40 for 100 on high gloss stock, before that I was printing them as needed on my ink jet, which wasn’t the best quality but cost efficient .
@Wardell
I wanted a “now and then” card. If I met someone I wanted to keep in touch with, I could give them this. In the near future, I will probably create business cards – but I think these handy things come in as great filler
I’ve never heard of that site until now, but it looks like they have some pretty cool designs. Thanks for the suggestion Raven. I actually love looking at different business cards made by artistic individuals.
We put together a list of 75 unique designs if anyone wants to see some:

@JP
I love to introduce folks to new sites. It’s so fun! The scene from American Psycho on your site was cool – I love that movie. It’s such a great observation…
